The Temple of Kom Ombo
(1-1.5 hours) Includes: Entrance fees. The temple is situated on the bank of the Nile, within walking distance from the harbor. The excursion can also be done by bus from Aswan or Luxor. Description: The Double Temple of Kom Ombo dates back to Greco-Roman Era and is dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god and Haroeris, one of the forms of Horus, the falcon god. The temple is famous for its subject matter, like the reliefs of medical tools. There are also mummified crocodiles on exhibition. There will also be time to do some shopping in the bazaar outside the temple.
