Horus In Edfu
(1.5-2.5 hours) Includes: Entrance fees and transport by horse carriage from the cruise ship to the temple. (Some cruise ships have their own buses taking clients to and from the temple.) Description: The temple, dedicated to the falcon god Horus, was built entirely during the Greek Ptolemy time and is perfectly preserved. Here you will hear the story about how Set (the evil) was defeated by Horus (the good). Can be combined with the temples of Kom Ombo or Esna, or the tombs of El Kab if going by bus instead of cruiser. |
